Searching for Voluntary Work

If you have decided that volunteering might be something you'd like to try then there are a number of different methods that you can use to make the next step.

Option 1 - Face to face support and advice

With more than 1000 volunteering opportunities to choose from it can often be quite a challenge to pick the right opportunity for your volunteering. Our team of trained advisors and development staff can help you to find the right opportunity for you. Each member of the team has a good knowledge of many of the opportunities on the database, and many of them will have been involved in volunteering themselves. By talking through your skills, interests, goals and time availability we can often help to find volunteering choices that you may never have even thought of. If you would like to make an appointment to talk to a member of the team then please click here to download a registration form - email or post back to the contact on the top of the form . We'll then get back to you to make an appointment.

Option 2 - Online Volunteering Search

The national volunteering database www.do-it.org.uk  is directly linked to our in house database and provides access to more than 60% of the volunteering opportunities that we can offer you. The database can be searched 24 hours a day and you can apply for further information online. Once you have requested more information it will be emailed to you, normally within a couple of working days, and you can then contact the organisation directly to progress your volunteering.

Option 3 - If you live outside of the area

If you are interested in volunteering but you live and work in another part of the country then there are services similar to Volunteering Wirral right across the UK. Use the links below to find the right Volunteer Centre for you:
