Registering OpportunitiesVolunteering Wirral can help your organisation to advertise your opportunities and recruit new volunteers. Registration is free and is open to all voluntary, community and faith organisations as well as to the public sector and to social enterprises (our services are not available to profit-making organisations). Most organisations are easily able to meet our basic criteria for registration, and we can provide advice and information where necessary. Once registered your organisation will have access to our full range of support services which include our quarterly Volunteer Organisers' Forum; one-to-one advice and support on all volunteering related issues; regular information emails from our network of organisations; and inclusion on our databases and the online national volunteering database.
Each volunteering opportunity that you register will be stored on our databases and will be accessible to all potential volunteers using our services. In addition, if you wish, your opportunities can appear on the national volunteering database at www.do-it.org.uk
To ensure that the information we provide is as up-to-date as possible we encourage all organisations that we work with to let us know as soon as the details or availability of their opportunities change. This helps volunteers to choose the right opportunity for them without the disappointment of finding out that the opportunity they are interested in is no longer available.
