Volunteer Organisers' Forum

Volunteering Wirral hosts a quarterly Volunteer Organisers' Forum which is free and is open to all volunteer organisers in Wirral. The meetings are held at various locations across Wirral and provide an opportunity for volunteer organisers to keep up to date with the latest changes in issues and topics affecting volunteering. The forum also provides a great chance for people to network, develop partnerships, share ideas and issues, and to have some input into the developments and progress of Volunteering Wirral.

Topics that have recently been discussed at the Volunteer Organisers' Forum have included:

- Changes to Vetting and Barring, the Independent Safeguarding Authority and CRB Checks

- Funding

- Excellence in Volunteer Management

- Working with Volunteers who have additional support needs
